Hey, gorgeous — I’m the creator of OhSoSassy, and this all started with a simple moment of curiosity and confidence.

I saw a friend of mine make a pair of waistbeads, and I was instantly in love. I asked her to make me a pair, but she was making them just for herself. So, I thought, okay, let me see what I can do. I went online looking for something cute — something that would fit my full-figured, plus-size body and still give that yes ma’am, I’m HER energy.

But let’s be honest — the options were slim (pun intended). It felt like nobody was creating beautiful, intentional waistbeads for plus-size women like me.

So I made my own.

I posted a picture of my first pair, and the response was instant. People were intrigued, inspired — and just like that, OhSoSassy was born.

OhSoSassy started as a space for plus-size women to feel seen, celebrated, and fine. But what I’ve learned is that waistbeads are so much more than string and sparkle. They are confidence. They are ritual. They are beauty, adornment, and self-love.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is the moment I tie the beads on someone — you can literally see the shift. The smile. The glow. The "oh wait... I'm THAT girl."

Whether you wear them as a sensual adornment, a reminder of your goals, or just because they’re pretty — these beads tell a story. Your story.

And no — you’re not “too big” to wear waistbeads. If anyone ever tells you that, send them to me. I’ll show ‘em what sass and self-love really look like.
